Our commitments

Ubino is committed to the following:

1. No account is needed to view the map or publish information.
2. Nothing is kept from your searches or from what you view.
3. Your position is never tracked — it is requested at the moment you look at the map, and is not recorded.
4. What expires is really deleted — erased from the database and the server, not hidden.
5. No profile is built, whether for advertising or for anything else.
6. No data is sold or transferred to third parties.
7. Ads are contextual — they depend on the place and the keyword, never on you.
8. Data is hosted in Europe.
9. The email address linked to an Ubino account is used only for signing in and recovering the account. No commercial mailing, no newsletter, no analysis, no transfer to any third party. It is never matched against how the map is used.

These commitments are built into the very structure of our database: violating them would require changing it.
